I can't find any set screw either on the side or top of my Maytag model A610 top load washer's agitator. I just can't remove this agitator no matter what I have tried. Please help.

ANSWER Hello Maybolt. The set screw is on the side and is close to the bottom of the agitator. You don't have to remove it, just loosen it and lift out the agitator 22004085.
