It appears I need a new latch board on my microwave. The bracket that holds the left side of the release lever is broken off and the door will not open rhen the button is pressed on the front. I have not removed the latch board. I do have everthing opened and see what the problem is.
I was wondering if installation instructions are included with the part when it is ordered?
ANSWER Hello Ken. No, the latch board 8185271 does not come with instructions, but is not hard to replace. You will just remove the screws securing it and transfer the micro-switches from the old one to the new one. Then reinstall the latch board. You will do all of this with the door open on the unit. Hope this helps.
