Our door hinges failed and we replaced them. Now the door does not close tightly and a lot of heat seems to be escaping from the top side of the door opening. Is there an adjustment to the new hinges that we aren't aware of? There does not seem to be a snap in type latch. I am cleaning the oven right now and the electronic lock latch is working fine.
ANSWER Hello Irene,
You will want to check the frame of the unit where the hinges goes into the receptacle to see if it is bowed. Also check the door gasket at the bottom to make sure that it is not damaged or crumpled/twisted. Check the door liner to make sure that it is not warped or bowed using a straight edge.
