My oven door latch slides into the appropriate slot in the door, but I seem to be missing the "bolt" or whatever the latch needs to catch onto to lock. Where could the part have gone? What part do I need? Do I need to take the door apart to install it?

ANSWER Hello Jeff,
The lock catches the enameled door liner. There isn't a bolt or anything in there.
