How do you access the connection for the lid lock replacement?
Mike V. for Model Number MTW6600TBO
ANSWER Hi. Tape the lid shut on both sides so when it is lifted it will not flop open and damage issues. Use a putty knife on the top of the front panel corner approx. 6-1/2" inwards from the outside edge of the washer. Push in the top lock and lift up on each corner. The lock is bolted on with 2 screws. Carefully route the new latch assy. where the side clips hold the latch part # W10059230 wires from the top of the tub from shorting. Thank You.
