Lid lock is not working do I need a repairman or can I replace it myself?
ANSWER Hello Nicole! You should be able to replace the latch withou a repairmans assistance. To install the new latch you will need to raise the main top by releasing the spring clips on both side of the front between the main top and the front panel. You will also need to raise the console which you will use a flat blade on either side under the endcaps to release the spring clip. Lift the console. Disconnect the wiring of the latch and take the screws out of the old latch that are holding it in place. Install the latch in reverse order.
