When I start my washer, the lid locks and tries to start sensing, but stops right away and clicks a few times as if it unlocking and locking the lid then the lid lock light starts flashing and nothing happens after that. The lid stays locked, I cannot lift it but the lid light is flashing. I have to unplug or reset washer. Could it be the lid lock sensor even though the lid stays locked or could it be the water hose sensor? Thanks Maureen

ANSWER Maureen, Did or do you not have any error/fail codes ? Check for a loose connection or loose wire terminal in the J15 connector of the wire harness, this is the lid switch / lock circuit to the control. There are other possibilities, and your best bet would be to use the tech data sheet, and conduct the diagnostics, automatic and manual test modes so you have a better idea of what the control is seeing or not seeing.
