Hi. My dryer turns itself on. It doesn't start to run, but the on light comes on and it starts beeping. There have been no codes appearing on the LED. If I push the off button, it will turn off and then turn on again itself. It also wants to stay on "sensor dry". I had a similar problem with the washer and it turned out to be the touchpad console since the control board had already been replaced. Wondering now if this is the same thing and do I need the touchpad console for the dryer?
ANSWER Hi Linda. If the keypad is shorted then it will allow this to happen. The L.E.D. console panel is part # 22004444. Thank you.
