I removed the filter number PP+T20 on the underneath are 2 support arms which allow a spring loaded mechanism to pivot. One area covers a hole in the filter & the other arm is rectangular 1 3/16 x 1 3/4 number pom-cp. Please explain it's function & does the rectangular arm engage another part beneath the filter? Could this be the lever actuator? Much thanks for any information.

ANSWER Hi Elio. Are you referring to the filter-1V under the lower wash arm part # 903486? The wash arm sits on the spray arm support part # Y912900.
