Hello, My Roper does not switch on at all. Power was checked and is OK. Water was added manually and it still does not turn on. I have read that the lid switch could be the problem. This washer will turn on and fill when the lid is open,(when working properly), so why is it possible that the lid switch would prevent the washer from any power if when running properly I do not have to have the lid closed until the spin cycle? If it is a faulty lid switch, does it stop all power to the washer? Thanks!
Tim
ANSWER Hello Tim,
If the unit normally will fill with the lid open, the issue is most likely with the pressure switch or the timer. This is the kind of issue that needs specific troubleshooting with the wiring diagram. Since we don't have the model number, we are in a tough position. If we could please ask you to re-post with a model number, we can go into detail and assist you in restoring normal operation.
