My light socket assembly on the above model looks like it has an additional electrical connection on the body of the assembly. There are the two push connectors on the back and what looks like a third closer to where the light bulb actually screws in. Any thoughts on this? My replacement part only has the two push style connectors on the back of the assembly.
ANSWER KB, The third "lug" was for an external ground, that is no longer required,the receptacle is grounded to the chassis by the spring clips on the metal housing circumference. It's also grounded through an internai "jumper" by thee white wire that attaches to one of the existing lugs. Once you install it and attach the wires you'll be fine. Thanks
