I have loud grinding noise in my dryer. Im guessing the motor is on its way out. Do you have any other suggestions?
ANSWER Hello Len. There could be a few causes of grinding noises in a dryer. You may need to open the dryer cabinet to find the source of the noise. If the felt drum seals at the front and rear of the drum 280140 fail it could cause a grinding noise. You may also want to check the drum rollers W10314173 to make sure they are spinning smoothly. I hope this info helps you find the source of your noise.
