Wife was washing clothes when the washer got to the rinse and spin cycle washer is making a thumping noise and shaking to much. I have took the cover off, all the springs are in place and appear to be good shape including the one on the rear panel. The 3 plastic pieces over the legs are intact and seems to be in good shape and there are 3 white plastic or teflon pieces the tub sets on they are in good shape. The washer has been there for several years and has not been moved and it is level. I checked the self leveling legs on the back they will move and I picked it up and dropped it back down the washer is level. Does the tub on this washer have a solution in it?? If it does That is probably my problem! When the wife told me the washer was tearing up, I did see a little water or wetness behind it but after I took it apart there is no sign of a leaking hose or anywhere for water to come from,I was reading another article about some tubs having a balancing solution in them .
ANSWER Hello Stan,
The tubs themselves do not have a balancing solution in them but the tub cover does. If the tub cover W10445870 solution leaks out then the unit will get off balance.
