Hi... I need to replace the membrane touch panel. Got it all opened up. So, do I just peel it off the bezel? I see where the wiring strip goes around the control panel...
Yes, to replace the membrane switch you will need to peel it off the control panel and before installing the new one you will want to make sure that you clean the control panel with rubbing alcohol to get all of the sticky residue off. When putting the new part on you will want to make sure that it is straight and you get it in place right the first time because if you have to peel it back off it could damage the internal workings of the membrane.
