Can a oven latch that stopped working after a self clean cause a F2E1 Error? I read that the F2E1 indicated that the ribbon is not connected. I checked the ribbon connection and cleaned it but still the membrane switch (touchpad) is not responsive.

ANSWER Hello Joel. Usually, the latch does not affect the membrane, but could have damaged the control board 4453164 and it is not reading the touch pad. Hope this helps.
