I was second person to look at refrigerator.
The evap fan had shorted and was replaced by the first one out. However the fan does not run (getting 108 volts) does this sound like a bad control board, or could it be something else.
ANSWER Brian, Check for 110 to 120 VAC on the black wire at the evaporator fan to chassis ground. If the voltage there is proper, you'll need to check the white/black wire for loose connections or frayed wires, then replace the control board if all's OK. There is constant line voltage applied to the fan motor, the control board completes the neutral leg of the circuit to operate the motor.
