Hello, My freezer is running way to cold - keeps freezing the bottle of vodka ( I put this in there to tell when it starts to run to cold ) and when the defrost cycle runs the water freezes up before it has a chance to drain through the bottom of the refridgerator causing the hole to become clogged up with ice, this hasn't happend lately because when I see the vodka start to freeze I unplug ( disconnect power ) the refridgerator for a half hour or so and then it will be fine for a week or couple of days. I think I know what the problem is but wanted your input before I order the part.
ANSWER Hello Tim. Make sure the thermistors in the unit are good and if so, you will need to replace the control board 8201527 on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
