The tub in my maytag has dropped about 3 inches inside the machine, It washes ok, but when the spin cycle comes on the tub seems to hit against the inside and the machine knocks bangs and actually turns itself around. Now, the clothes are still soaking wet after it stops. The floor under the machine is also wet and oily. Can I repair the machine myself, and what parts would I need. Thanks

Yes you can repair the unit yourself. The parts that you are looking at a minimum of is the hub and seal kit W10116790, transmission W10219148, check the outer tub for damage 40111001P, possible brake R9900474 R0000014 issue from oil.
