I am working on a whirlpool dryer, the control come on but the unit does't run and the
unit has a error code saying sensing what part i need to repair the unit.
ANSWER MM, Are you sure you have 220-240 VAC at the outlet and the terminal block of the dryer ? If all's OK, you'll need to check the thermal fuse, Wiring, and belt switch. If the fuse, switch, or blue wiere are open, the power to the motor is eliminated and the dryer won't start or run. Here's some meter usage information if you need it [http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html] And we'll send you some more information to help you out. Good Luck and Thanks
