I replaced the water valve since it was leaking and that was fixed. The problem now is that there is ice in the ice maker mold-tray but it stays there. Do I need to replace the Ice Maker Mold and Heater
or something else? Thank you!
ANSWER Hello Paula. It is best to replace the complete assembly. If not, then you will need to test and see if the thermostat 627985 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. It should read closed when frozen. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
