I recently had to replace the large driven gear at the bottom of my compactor. After doing so, the RAM works fine but the motor makes a loud pop when it reverses to raise the RAM. Did I cause this during repair or could something else have gone wrong?
ANSWER Hello Kenbob. You will need to check and make sure everything is good and tight with the gear assembly 882699. If not, It will cause the noise your hearing. Also check the motor and make sure the chain is tight. Hope this helps.
