When installing the new motor I used the Electric dryer wiring instructions as that is what all the posts seem to indicate. I have 2 yellow wires that terminate together, 2 black wires that terminate together, a blue and white wire that terminate together a gray wire and a red wire. Nothing in the instructions tells me what to do with the white and blue wire. When I hooked everything up using the electric dryer instructions my start button doesn't work and when I turn the dial to the end of a cycle it just buzzes. Can someone please help me. Posts seem to talk about new instructions from the manufacturer and an update bulletin.
On models with the blue and white wire together, they will stay together. Connect the Blue Lead to 1/4" Tab 1. And make sure to Remove Blue Jumper Lead between Switch Terminal 4 and 1/4" Protector Tab , connect White Harness lead to 1/4" Protector Tab. Reterminate Yellow Lead with 1/8" Insulated Terminal and Connect to Switch Tab 6.
