MY APPLIANCE REPAIR SERVICE ATTEMPTED TO INSTALL A NEW DRYER MOTOR(PART NO. 306055) AND TOLD ME THE NEW MOTOR HAD A QUICK CONNECT ADAPTER AND HE DID NOT KNOW IF IT COULD BE USED TO REPLACE THE OLD MOTOR, WHICH DID NOT HAVE A QUICK CONNECT FEATURE. ARE SPECS OR INSTRUCTIONS AVAILABE ON HOW TO DO THIS? AVAILABLE.REPAIR SERVICE IS RESEARCHING BUT IT TAKING WAY TO LONG.
ANSWER Hello Bruce. The motor W10411000 does not use a quick connect. They will need to match the number and wires off the old motor onto the new motor. This is not hard to do, as the numbers should match up the correct wiring. Hope this helps.
