The freezer is working fine, but the coils in the back are freezing up and not allowing air flow up to the refrigerator. I have manually defrosted this and all works well for a few days. This is supposed to be a frost free unit. What needs to be done to eliminate this problem?
ANSWER Hello George,
What you want to check on unit is the defrost thermostat 67003426, heater 12729129 and control board W10503278. Check continuity on the defrost bi metal and heater. If no continuity on either one then you would need to replaced that component. If everything checks ok then you will need to replaced control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
