How do you install a evaporater motor in this refrigerator?
To install the evaporator fan motor in this unit you will first have to pull the shelving out of the freezer. Once shelving is out you will remove the rails that the shelving slides on. There should be 3 screws holding each rail on and you will have to pull the rail out to get to the screws behind the rail. There will be holes in the rail as you pull it out to remove the screws. Once rails are out you will remove the screws for the back cover of the freezer lower wall. With the screws out you will lift wall off and you will have access to the fan motor. You will want to make sure that power is disconnected before removing wiring from the fan motor. Remove wiring and the motor should be held in by a bracket that you just lift up on and push inward toward the fan motor to release. The fan blade must be pulled off before motor will come out. Install new motor and connect wiring. Reinstall other components.
