I can't figure out how the motor shield fits back in. In the motor diagram the shield is shown but not where it is located. Obviously it goes over the motor, but I cannot see where the tabs are supposed to go, or how the arced portion fits in. Can you help me with this?

ANSWER Michael, The motor shield is mounted to the motor mount plate, by the tabs along the edges. It is only a partial cover, and is going to cover the left side and top portion of the motor coupling. Most servicers leave them off due to a possible noise issue, and the manufacturer no longer uses them in production as a cost savings measure, so you may leave it off, if you prefer.
