I have a whirlpool dual door refrig with an ice dispensing system and it docent dispense ice at all. When the button is pressed, the motor is not heard. I removed and tested the motor and it vibrates for a short period of time, however the shaft does not rotate. At this point I think the gears may be faulty, but my real question is "what should I be getting for an output voltage when checking at the motor harness from the circuit board?
ANSWER Hello Aposteiv. You should see around 120 volts. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the motor W10271506 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
