The ice cube dispenser motor became wet when there was a power outage and is now frozen, I can thaw it with a hair dryer but it freezes again. I cant get the motor clear of the wire to get it out. Can the grommet holding the wire in the door be pryed out? What's the procedure to removing the motor?
ANSWER Hello Henry. No, but with the wiring harness unplugged from the motor, you can remove the motor from the unit. You just will have to work with the motor and the harness to remove it.
