After reading feedback here I replaced the Wax Motor and fixed spin problem. Saved me about $600 and my wife thinks I am a pro.
After removing the old Wax Motor I took it apart to see how it works but I am mystified. It has a square rod, a small disk, some odd leads, and is filled with a wax like substance. Could someone explain what a Wax Motor is and how it works?
ANSWER Hello Jim. A wax motor 22002119 is just that. It has a disc and wax inside and as the power passes, it heats up and expands the wax, and once the power is removed, it comes back to normal.
