is the mounting stem, the part with the torx set screw (ap4390013), need to be removed from the inner tub with a gear puller, or should to inner tube pull right off with the tub?
ANSWER KW, Yes the mounting stem is the "the part with the torx set screw" and the cork surface. You will need a special "spanner wrench" TJ90TB123A to remove the clamping nut 6-2110472, then remove the basket, remove the torx set screw, then use the spanner wrench to remove the mounting stem assembly. Presumably you have a leak from the center of the tub, or the washer doesn't spin, due to a seized tub bearing. You'll find it best to replace both parts 6-2095720 and 6-2040130 at the same time, if you haven't yet considered it.
