i have a whirlpool thintwin model LT7100XVNO it will not wash on the wash cycle or spin out on spin cycle will neutral drain kit part #AP3018165 fix it
ANSWER Mark, The neutral drain kit 388253 is the least likely issue. It's an internal component of the transmission, and has little to nothing to do with the agitate cycle. If you can hear the motor run, and / or the washer will drain the water from the tub, you most likely have a damaged motor coupling 285753A which drives the transmission input shaft, this would keep the transmission from operating, or a faulty gearcase/transmission 3360629. If the motor doesn't operate, you'll need to check the electrical components: lid switch, timer, motor and wiring, for a defect.
