I noticed a small amount of oil under the Roper washer. It works fine EXCEPT when it spins. It makes a consistent clicking or clunking noise right where the clutch/brake area is. I can (thanks to your video) replace the clutch, but is this the obvious problem or is the transmission shot.Any help is appreciated. It just started today. Since I was tearing it apart, I was going to replace the washer motor couplings since I was at it (thanks to you video it also seems easy).
ANSWER Hello Matt. Based on the information you provided, it does sound like the clutch needs to be replaced on the unit.
