My washer does not change agitator speeds, so ether fast or slow it is always the same speed but seems sluggish. Washer spins, drains, and does everything else fine. Lastly if it is the transmission what other parts should I replace while I am down there? Couple, clutch?
ANSWER Brian, The agitate and spin speeds are controlled through the speed selector switch, timer and motor contacts, depending on model and serial number. You're not needing a transmission, at this point. If you can get the complete model number from the washer, we may be able to assist you with circuit and switch checks you can make with a meter.
