HI, My Maytag MET3800TW2 washer/dryer stacked machine has a very loud motor. I unhooked it from the drive and let it run free and it still is very loud, but then when hooking it to an alternate power source it sounds perfectly fine. Could this be the timer sending it the wrong signals? Thanks, Erik

ANSWER Hello Erik,
If the motor runs properly when plugged into a different outlet, you need to test the power supplied at that outlet. It sounds as though you may well be in need of a licensed electrician.
