My washer stopped working midway through the rinse cycle. Washer is still full of water and when I go to restart it just hums. Then I hear a click and the humming stops. Help!!!! What's wrong with my washer?

You will want to check to make sure that there is nothing clogged in the pump causing the motor to not spin and causing to click motor thermal overload.
