Works fine with no clothes in it or very light load, but when normal load is put in it the agitor twists spins and twists the water and clothes counter clockwise. It also sounds like a gear is skipping in the transmission. Is there any place to get replacement parts for the transmission, I have seen rebuilt transmissions online, where do they get the parts?
ANSWER Hello Dave,
You may want to check the agitator dogs 285811 before doing anything with the transmission. The dogs will cause agitator to twist and then spin by not engaging properly. This can also cause noises. If the transmission is faulty then you would have to change out the transmisison as individual parts are not availabe.
