Washer is working correctly but make a whining noise while spinning or pumping. I think the motor and transmission are involved with both of these processes. Any way determine which one is making the noise? I'm leaning towards the motor.
ANSWER Bruce, before you go too far, check the drain pump 3363394 first. There may be a small article (needle, pin , paper clip, etc.) inside the pump body or stuck in the impeller. There could also be an issue with the impeller bearings making noise.
