Washer stopped during spin cycle. It makes a loud noise and spin cycle doesn't work. What can be the problem? How do I troubleshoot that, and how do I fix it ?

ANSWER Hello Scott. You will need to check and see if the clutch 8299642 is bad or broke on the unit. If so, it will prevent the unit from spinning. Also, check the brake shoes.
