The left back burner was not lighting unless we used a lighter. We called a repairman who said the spark switch and all four burner assemblies needed to be replaced. He broke the screws taking them out and had to drill them out. we now have the cooktop back. The back burner is still not working and the little thing that sticks up is crooked. The other three burners have mismatched screws and are really loose (they were not loose prior to this repair). Help!
ANSWER Marilyn, With all the mismatched screws and them being loose, we're somewhat surprised, it works at all. Someone will need to dismantle the cooktop, Replace all the burner tubes, all the burner caps and screws, gaskets as needed and probably the spark module, If you want it to be safe and operate properly. We'll send you some information that way you'll have an idea of what's inolved.
