My boy ran his leatherman through our machine a couple years ago and it chewed up the flanges when it jammed under the rim. It has worked ok except for small items slipping down to the trap once in a while. All the shocks have benn replaced that fixed the shaking awhile ago.Now there is shaking again and there is play in the inner drum. There is no leaking from the bearing. Will replacing the front half of the hub fix my problem? Replacing the whole outer drum is half the price of a new one and my machine is 13 yrs old.
ANSWER Hello JR. No, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the outer tub W10253866 will need to be replaced. The bearing is bad on the unit.
