The ignition of the oven turns on but not the oven. What could be wrong?

ANSWER Hi Bertha. The igniter should ohm cold at between 50-800 ohms. It may also have a slight crack that opens more when heating and not allowing the gas valve to open. Part # is 4342528. Thank you.
