My broiler will not come on. When I turn the knob to ignite the broiler, I used to hear some clicking until it lit. Now no clicking and the oven will not lite. I bought the igniter and replaced it because the end of the wires had burned a little and also melted. The broiler still will not come on and there is no clicking when I turn the knob. Any suggestions?
You will want to check your oven safety valve for resistance across broil and common (Center terminal). You should have a resistance of 216 ohms. If not then the oven safety valve is faulty and would need to be replaced. If checks ok then spark module may be bad.
