I have a Model SVE47500 Jenn-Air Grill range. I screwed in a new oven light and it lit momentarily with a flash in the socket. I discovered the base of the old bulb had remained in the socket. I removed the base and after cleaning the socket it appeared to be in good condition, and I screwed in a new bulb, but it doesn't work. Is there a fuse in this circuit?

ANSWER Felix, No, there is no fuse in the oven light circuit. But there is a relay on the relay board 12001689 that supplies 120 VAC to the light assembly 74011278. When the socket arced, you may have damaged a wire to the light socket, or caused the relay internal switch to fail. You'll need to access the back of the range and check the wires for damage , and voltage from the relay board to the light socket with a multi meter.
