In Broil mode, broiler element comes on & turns red. Then shuts down. After opening the door and letting it cool down it will come on again turn red and then shut off again. Repeats. I suspect the oven temp. sensor is bad or reading incorrectly. What would the resistance reading be on the isolated sensor be at room temp? Thinking ahead, what would the next fault possibility be should the temp. sensor check out ok?
The resistance of the oven sensor should be approximately 1090 ohms at room temperature. If the reading is correct then the next issue would be a bad control board.
