The oven will not heat up to the desired temperature. When i set the oven for 375 the bell goes off after the preheat however; the inside temperature reads 320 or so. I adjusted the the temputure at the control panel up a few degrees but this does not seem the work. I would be gratefull for any help. Thanks Ken

Ken for Model Number PGR5710BDW (Maytag Gas 30" Free Standing Oven)

ANSWER Hello Ken, You will want to test your oven sensor for resistance. The resistance reading should be approximately 1090 ohms. If not within 10 percent of this then the oven sensor [AP12001655] would need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
