I have an F3 code coming up when I try to preheat oven. Will sensor replacement solve this? Why are there 2 listings for part #33? Other sites indicate that you must know the Series 59 or 01, is this the difference? My oven does not appear to have Series 59 or 01 shown the only thing close is in the Serial #23C017499858. The "01" in the Serial number is the closest I can tell. No other info on Series is shown on nameplate. Which Part #33 should I order?
ANSWER Hello Paul! You're right on track! An F3 failure code indicates a shorted or open temp sensor. You will need to check the sensor harness and harness connection between the sensor and oven control. Replace the temp sensor if the wiring is ok. Both of the original temp sensors have been redesigned they are now the same part number. You will need to order 12001656. Thanks!
