My Whirlpool double oven blacked out completely after cooking at 425 for about an hour. I have removed the Thermo Fuse and tried a continuity test on it, no continuity present. Should you be able to get continuity on a Thermo fuse?
or should I assume this is the problem and just go ahead and put one in?
(the power is good to the oven terminals)
ANSWER Hello Cap,
The thermo fuse should show zero resistance, just like touching the test meter leads directly to one another. If you showed no continuity, this part is bad.
