The compressor stops running after the initial start up.
I removed the overload and ohm'd it out (0 ohms).
Is there a bi-metallic strip in these? How do I tell if it's bad?
ANSWER Hello Bob. No, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the compressor is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.
