My dishwasher will not start. The panel lights with any of the options but the start button will not activate the cycle. Would replacing the control panel be the solution?
Does the plastic clip to hold the ribbon cable in place come with the control panel?
I have 20 guests for thanksgiving, no pressure here.
ANSWER Hello Kim. Yes, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control panel is bad on the unit. Check and make sure the door switches are good on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
