I have a refrigerator/freezer and it is frost-free, but frost is at the the top and the bottom is not cooling. I just want to know what is the problem and how can I repair it. Thank you.
ANSWER Hello Mary. You will need to test the defrost heater 2315531 and the defrost thermostat 4387503. They should read closed for continuity when cold. If they are good, you will need to replace the defrost timer 482493. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
